Buffalo Eyes

I'm so sad about leaving Molly and Boone. I say Molly first because she is elderly and being the realist that I am, I know there is a great chance she'll get depressed when we leave and give up. Her little legs and feet are giving up.

She has the sweetest 'buffalo eyes'. It's so hard to leave her as we move to Kyrgyzstan for ten months. Will she know she is loved?

Sore throat?

Today, we walked in the door and Molly was nowhere to be seen, or heard. Like a missing toddler when it's too quiet, we wondered what she was into. Cough drops. Chloroseptic Honey and Lemon coughdrops!

Trick or Treat!

It's a little late, but I have to show that Molly dressed up for Halloween! It was a phone pic so it's not the best picture quality...but she is so lovely!

Happy or Sad?

Molly wags her tail when she sees me. I never know whether she is in pain or not. She has fallen down and never makes a sound. I have heard her bark once or twice. With an aging 'puppy', this is hard, because it is hard to tell when there is something wrong. Anyway, I have to keep my eye out for signs of anything. This makes me look like an over worried parent! And, I am. She is so, so, so precious and tender in her kisses. Just as long as there is no food involved.

I had an Easter Basket & Easter Egg!

Life is a trip...

This week, I went to the vet.
Mom gave me a bath, trying to help me stay clean, and the flea soap made my skin really dry. The vet said to add cod liver oil and canola oil to my food to help my skin stay elastic and moisturized. Come to find out, my skin was dry in the first place, which is why the advantix flea drops weren't working.

Also, I am getting left behind for 2 days and three nights and I get a dog sitter while they are leading a bike trip. There is a huge note that the dog sitter is getting! (Mom loves to make lists!) Here are some photos of me...I love car rides!
